Change of Surname in PAN Card

Online

1. Go to the PAN website.
2. Click on the "Change/Correction in PAN card details" option.
3. Enter your PAN card number and other required details.
4. Click on the "Submit" button.
5. Fill in the required details on the form, including your new surname.
6. Upload the required documents, such as a copy of your marriage certificate or a change of name affidavit.
7. Pay the applicable fees.

1. Download the "Request for New PAN Card or/and Changes or Correction in PAN Data" form website.
2. Fill in the form and attach the required documents.
3. Submit the form at the nearest PAN centre.
4. Pay the applicable fees.

The processing time for a PAN card correction is usually 25-30 days. Once your application is processed, you will receive a new PAN card with your updated surname.
